Airnorth is currently recruiting for a Network and Distribution Analyst to join our Commercial Department to maximise revenue for Airnorth through a combination of scheduling, revenue management and commercial planning activities.
Responsibilities of the role:
Revenue Management
- Assist with managing dedicated flight portfolio and provide informed feedback on flight performance and recommendations to maximise revenue;
- Update and circulate to stakeholders forward bookings reports providing analysis and feedback;
- Produce and analyse key performance reports;
- Monitor and adjust RM system forecasts and rules based upon knowledge of Airnorth route booking profile and known special and seasonal events;
- Produce and maintain suite of Airnorth revenue and forward booking reports;
- Monitor yield trends and identify and implement adjustments to redress forecast shortfalls to budget
Commercial Support
- Update fares information following fare or tax increases ensuring accurate version control;
- Monitor Airnorth distribution channels including the tracking of associated costs;
- Maintain currency with business and market trends;
- Actively participate in departmental projects; and
- Generate reports, analysis and recommendations for weekly commercial planning meetings
Schedule Management
- Assist with development and maintain currency of Airnorth flight schedule;
- Assist with implementing schedule changes in schedule and inventory systems;
- Liaise with; and then advise both external and internal stakeholders of schedule related changes;
- Assist with publication and distribution of Airnorth base schedule;
- Assist in ad-hoc scheduling scenarios aimed at mitigating negative impact on Airnorth revenue generation capability:
Pricing
- Assist with accurate filing and publication of Airnorth Public and Private Fares
- Assist with route specific competitive pricing reviews;
- Assist with the development and implementation of changes to the Airnorth fare levels and fare conditions
Other
- Undertake and/or assist with audit of departmental work within the areas of Scheduling, Revenue Management and Pricing
- Undertake ad-hoc pricing and revenue management projects as directed by N&D Manager
Demonstrated abilities:
- Ideally, a minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a role in the Aviation/Travel or Hotel Industry;
- Background knowledge of and interest in developments in aviation/travel industry sectors;
- Excellent analytical skills and high degree of flexibility to meet rapidly changing priorities and market influences;
- A results and customer service driven focus;
- Demonstrated proven time management skills in a fast paced working environment;
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal including well developed numeric and analytical skills;
- Knowledge of or intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel;
- Able to prioritise to meet deadlines at all times.
