About the role
Aviair is seeking a highly motivated Ground Instructors to join our growing team as soon as possible.
As Ground Instructors you will be reporting into the Ground Training Manager and be responsible for the development and delivery of technical courses.
Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include
- Develop and deliver as specified (both practical and theoretical components) of Flight Crew engineering and technical courses
- Develop and deliver as specified (both practical and theoretical components) of Aircrew safety and emergency procedures, dangerous goods, first aid and CRM/NTS facilitation)
- Ensuring that Aircrew standards are maintained to the highest level in accordance with the requirements of the company operations manual(s)
- Ensure that course materials are compliant with company procedures and relevant legislation
- Ensuring all relevant CASA statutory requirements related to aircrew training and checking, are adhered to
- Develop and deliver ground training course materials as directed by the Ground Training Manage
- Other duties as directed by the Flight Training and Ground Training Manager
- Hold a general emergencies procedures approval and facilitate initial & recurrent Emergency procedures training and assessment for Cabin and Flight crew
- Provide performance/training feedback to Cabin and Flight crew
- Provide mentoring and coaching to Cabin and Flight crew
- Conduct line proficiency assessment for cabin crew, if applicable
- Conduct remedial and refresher training where required
To be successful in this role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint
- Professional conduct and demonstration
- In-depth knowledge of aviation, ATPL preferred
- Ability to research, design and write training material and packages
- Previous experience using LMS Advantageous
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work independently on programs and projects
