Reporting to the Head of Flight Operations, you will be responsible for the compliance of all technical standards across the Australian Cabin Crew team, ensuring that all services are aligned with any legislation and industry standards.

Cobham Regional Aviation Services is a market leader in the provision of fly-in-fly-out services in the Australian marketplace.  Our E190 and Q400 aircraft are a critical link in connecting workers to resource sites in remote locations across Australia. We provide flexible, bespoke charter flights to city centres, regional towns and domestic holiday destinations. As demand grows for Cobham’s modern, reliable and comfortable aircraft operating within the closed charter market, we are steadily introducing more aircrafts and operated flights throughout the Region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hold People and Safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and an incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to this leadership role.
  • Responsible for the compliance of all technical standards across the Cabin Crew team.
  • Ensure services are aligned with any legislation and industry standards.
  • Responsible for all technical aspects of Cabin Crew and ensure Flight Operations Support manuals and publications are correct at all times.
  • Ensure the continual improvement of the Cabin Crew technical and service delivery program.
  • Work closely with Head of Training as a trusted advisor to ensure all crew are trained as per correct standards.
  • Support the running of ground schools, where required ensuring all training from a technical perspective is delivered to a high standard.
  • As part of the Cabin Crew Lead team, you will demonstrate the Cobham Aviation company values and provide leadership to the Cabin Crew team.
  • Behave in a manner consistent with acceptable community and company standards, in compliance with all the relevant laws, whilst on duty or on the premises of NJE or any of its clients or associated companies.

To meet our requirements and be successful in this role you must have;

  • Have a high understanding of relevant Civil Aviation Orders and Regulations
  • Understand aviation terminology and acronyms
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently under pressure and to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Demonstrated high work standards and attention to detail
  • Show initiative and be proactive and assertive
  • Ability to operate autonomously or within a team environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Sound analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional leadership and people management capability with the ability to lead, motivate, engage and develop cabin crew skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and think both critically and strategically
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and influencing skills
  • High degree of computer literacy –experienced user of MS Office suite
