About the role          

HeliSpirit is seeking a Client and Administration Officer to join our base in Kununurra. You will be responsible to manage the reception, to handle all front counter enquiries and assist with daily monitoring and entry of scenic and charter flights. You will assist Senior Managers with administrative task and duties.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include

  • Answer the phones promptly and direct calls in a professional manner while acting as the first point of contact for front office enquiries
  • Always maintain a high level of customer service
  • Provide logistical support for remote bases including staff food and miscellaneous items- ordering and delivery coordination (seasonal)
  • Provide high level sales support and detailed advice to customers enquiring about HeliSpirit scenic flights and charters, in conjunction with the Reservations Team
  • Assist the Accounts Department as required, including accounts entry and credit card expenditure documentation provision
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of HeliSpirit logistics and business operations, including;
  • Enter helicopter flight bookings; recording passenger weights; take payment for bookings; ordering picnic lunches; utilising company vehicles to provide pickup and drop-off services for HeliSpirit customers and tours
  • Manage and print pilot manifests for daily tours and charters
  • Be responsible for holding SARTIMES and follow up with procedures if a SARTIME expires
  • Required high level of product knowledge throughout the season and be familiar with all tours offered by the companies
  • Provide administrative support to the HeliSpirit General Manager, Operations Manager, Office Manager and staff at the remote HeliSpirit bases
  • Ensure an effective operation of the HeliSpirit office, including reception duties, stationary orders, printing of manuals, filing and data entry


To be successful in this role

Thrive when working as part of a team, be able to follow directions and be a good communicator as well as following:

  • 1-2 years’ work experience in an Administrative Support role
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be able to run with multiple tasks concurrently
