Located approximately 13 km north of the City of Adelaide at the Parafield Airport and adjacent to the university’s Mawson Lakes campus, the UniSA Aviation Academy provides quality flight training for students undertaking the Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Aviation) and/or the Graduate Diploma of Aviation.
In addition to a fleet of ‘glass cockpit’ C172’s, and a modern state of the art simulator, the Aviation Academy also provides students with electronic links to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s information service enabling the easy submission of flight plans and access to the latest aerodrome alerts and weather forecasts.
The adjacent Mawson Lakes campus houses most of the University’s scientific and engineering schools within the Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment, including the School of Electrical and Information Engineering which coordinates the Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Aviation) program and operates the UniSA Aviation Academy.
