About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Training & Development Officer to join our dynamic Engineering team. In this role, you will support both technical and non-technical training for Part 145 organisations, including the development and maintenance of competency-based training courses. You will also coordinate and supervise on-the-job training for apprentices and engineers, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain competency-based training courses for Part 145 personnel.
  • Coordinate and supervise on-the-job training for apprentices and engineers.
  • Monitor and manage training records, identifying gaps, and coordinating schedules.
  • Ensure all duties adhere to company procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions, including creating course materials and assessments.
  • Administer the authorisation matrix and ensure training results are recorded.
  • Liaise with external training providers and conduct new employee hangar inductions.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Manager to prepare maintenance areas for training tasks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a training role.
  • Proficient computer skills and data interpretation.
  • Ability to hold and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).

Desired Requirements:

  • Expertise and experience in aircraft maintenance engineering.
  • Formal qualifications in training, such as a Cert IV in Workplace Assessment & Training.
  • Experience with Embraer 120/170/190 aircraft.
